All mushroom spore products sold by Spore Wizard are strictly intended for microscopy, taxonomy, and scientific research use only. These products are NOT intended for the cultivation or growth of mushrooms of any kind.

Psilocybin mushroom cultivation is illegal under federal law in the United States and in many other jurisdictions. By purchasing from us, you confirm that you understand this and will use our products only for lawful purposes.

1. INTENDED USE — MICROSCOPY & RESEARCH ONLY

Spore Wizard sells mushroom spore swabs and spore prints exclusively as specimens for:

Microscopy research and educational study of spore morphology

Taxonomic classification and identification of fungal species

Academic and scientific research in controlled laboratory environments

Mycological art, photography, and specimen archiving

Our product descriptions, including details about visual characteristics, potency levels, or species traits, are provided strictly as taxonomic and educational information for the benefit of researchers and microscopists. No statement on this website should be construed as encouragement or instruction to cultivate mushrooms.

Purchasing means you agree: You are acquiring these specimens solely for lawful research and microscopy purposes. You will not attempt to germinate or cultivate any spore product.

2. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

None of the products sold by Spore Wizard are intended for human consumption in any form. Our spore products are not food, dietary supplements, or medicinal products.

Do not ingest, inhale, or otherwise consume any spore product

Keep all products away from food preparation areas

Store products safely and out of reach of children and animals

Handle all specimens with appropriate laboratory safety equipment (gloves, mask) when applicable

Spore Wizard is not liable for any health consequences arising from misuse or improper handling of our products.

3. LEGAL STATUS & BUYER RESPONSIBILITY

The legal status of psilocybin mushroom spores varies significantly by jurisdiction. In the United States:

Federal law: Psilocybin (the active compound produced when spores germinate and mushrooms grow) is classified as a Schedule I controlled substance. However, psilocybin mushroom spores themselves — which do not contain psilocybin — are federally unscheduled.

State laws: Several US states have enacted their own laws that may restrict or prohibit spore possession regardless of the absence of psilocybin. It is your responsibility to know your local laws.

International: Laws vary widely by country. If you are ordering internationally, you are solely responsible for ensuring your purchase and importation is legal in your country.

4. RESTRICTED STATES — WE DO NOT SHIP TO

Spore Wizard does not ship to the following US states due to state-specific laws that prohibit possession of psilocybin mushroom spores:

California

Possession of psilocybin mushroom spores is illegal under California Health & Safety Code §11054.

Georgia

Psilocybin and related spores are classified as Schedule I substances under Georgia law.

Idaho

Idaho law explicitly prohibits possession of psilocybin mushroom spores, including for research purposes.

Orders placed with shipping addresses in these states will be cancelled and refunded. If you are unsure whether your state permits spore possession, please consult an attorney before ordering.

5. AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from Spore Wizard. By completing a purchase, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Spore Wizard reserves the right to cancel any order if we have reason to believe the purchaser is under 18. We do not knowingly sell to minors.

6. NO CULTIVATION ADVICE

No content on the Spore Wizard website — including product descriptions, the AI Wizard assistant, FAQ answers, blog posts, or any other material — constitutes advice, instruction, or encouragement to cultivate psilocybin-containing mushrooms.

Product descriptions describing visual spore characteristics are for microscopist reference only

Any mention of fruiting bodies, potency, or growing characteristics is strictly taxonomic context to help researchers identify species under a microscope

We do not provide growing guides, substrate recipes, environmental conditions, or any other cultivation-related information
